The harmony of science and religion: bias, diversity and the brain

The field of neuroscience can help explain mankind's innate struggle to mitigate bias and embrace diversity, but by understanding the brain mechanisms common to all humans which drive many of our decisions and behaviors, we can start to create self-awareness of our hidden biases and understand why embracing diversity is so important to the health of our society. This presentation will help the participant appreciate the link between the core principles of the Bahá’í Faith and what neuroscience has discovered around how to manage our biased brain.
